About Me

Hello! My name is Takudzwa Mvere. I like designing and developing web applications. I got into tech simply because I loved being on the internet interacting with sites and systems built by others. I liked them so much that I had to start building them myself and here we are!

I studied Computer Systems Engineering at Midlands State University (2.1 Honours). Since then I've built full-stack web platforms, written Django and FastAPI backends and managed deployments across Vercel, Cloudflare and production Linux servers.

Day to day, I build and maintain news sites, corporate portals and client web applications. My daily toolkit centers around Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, Django or FastAPI on the backend, all containerized with Docker and deployed through Dokploy on a Hetzner VPS.

More than just software, my academic coursework and industrial attachment gave me hands-on hardware and infrastructure expertise too. That includes enterprise networking, biometric access control, CCTV systems and Linux & Windows systems administration.

▷Maintain and update news portals and corporate sites built on WordPress and custom PHP. Handle plugin conflicts, cache tuning and keeping pages loading fast.
▷Set up and customize Broadstreet Ad Server integrations and interactive engagement widgets across the news sites.
▷Deploy and maintain the PressPatron payment platform, configuring secure recurring donation pipelines and checkout flows.
▷Set up role-based access control, editorial review workflows and audit logging so different publishing teams only see what they need to.
